I want Help Getting Started with Crew Chief – Any Tips?

    Hey everyone,

I am new to Crew Chief & I have heard great things about how it enhances the sim racing experience but I am a bit overwhelmed with all the settings and options. I have got it installed but I feel such as i am not using it to its full potential.

Are there any must-know settings or tweaks that you guys suggestion? Also, I have seen people mention custom voice commands—how do those word & are they worth setting up?

Another thing—sometimes the spotter feels a bit delayed or off. Is that just how it is or is there a way to fine-tune it? I am using it for iRacing but I want to hear tips for other sims too.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.
Welcome! Crew Chief is a game-changer once dialed in. Key tweaks: enable “sweary messages” for fun, fine-tune frequency of messages in settings, and explore voice command customization—great for quick pit changes or car status. For spotter delay, try adjusting spotter volume and response time in the preferences. Works well across sims like AC, rF2, and AMS2 too. The more you tweak, the more immersive it gets—totally worth the effort!
