    CrewChief does not start in Le Mans Ultimate

    [SIZE=4]Hello Racing Mates ????

    my Racing Team Friend has a Problem with CC ans LMU.

    For your information:
    we both have the same PC with the same hardware. I also had problems with CC in LMU at the beginning. As described here in the forum, I first installed the beta version and then the automatic update.
    After that CC in LMU works for me, but not for my Team Mate, he has done the same thing as me several times.

    At my friends PC, CC always gets stuck in initialization Progress, after it has been started to open LMU and does not continue to run.

    Here is an example of my Text inside the CC Console after i start CC and LMU:
    23:05:30.340 : Initialising...
    Skipped 3 copies of previous message
    23:05:33.654 : Initialized Le Mans Ultimate Shared Memory
    23:05:33.664 : Le Mans Ultimate Shared Memory version: 3.7.15.1 64bit. UBM: 160

    My friends Consol Text stops after the Initialising... than nothing happend...

    Maybe some one can help us?

    We have found the error
    For all others who may have a similar problem:
    We have uninstalled the CC software again and then also deleted the hidden folders with the configurations inside.
    Then we reinstalled everything again, first the beta version, then the update and then CC worked perfectly!
    Really a great program, it makes racing even more fun!!! Many thanks!!!

    Which hidden folders within the configuration inside did you delete? I am having the same problem myself.

    Hope this works also for you:

    Q: Crew Chief doesn't work, what can I do?
    Q: I can't install/update PC version of Crew Chief. What can I do?
    A: Your Crew Chief installation might've got corrupted. The first step in troubleshooting the application is to completely remove it. You can try completely uninstall Crew Chief and try again. To uninstall:
    * uninstall Crew Chief via Add Remove Programs
    * remove C:\Program Files (x86)\Britton IT Ltd
    * remove C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Britton_IT_Ltd
    * remove C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\CrewChiefV4
    * remove/backup Documents\CrewChiefV4
    Try a fresh install. Get Crew Chief here: http://thecrewchief.org/forumdisplay...ewChief-for-PC

    Note: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Britton_IT_Ltd and Documents\CrewChiefV4 contain CC's settings. You may want to back those folders in order to be able to restore your settings. Also, CC team is interested in fixing startup issues, and if you zip and send those folders to us it will help us in rooting issues out.

    You can write me via Private Message, and explain me your problem, maybe we can fix it.
    If everything in CC is set up correctly, it should normally work.
