I get "Selecting a name" then after clicking "No name thanks" I get the "Crew Chief Configuration Properties" dialog that I need to exit. This happens every time after the last update. Did you find any solution?
I have been away from sim racing for some months and have not used Crew Chief in a while. I have upgraded to the latest version. After upgrading, Crew Chief displays the "Selecting a name" dialog. I do not want to have a name, and I select "No name thanks". Next time Crew Chief starts, it again displays "Selecting a name". It happens every time I start Crew Chief, and every time I select "No name thanks"
What do I need to do to make it remember that my choice is "No name thanks" so I don't have to select it every time?

Interesting, this is also happening to me following the update. Also once you dismiss the Configuration Properties box that appears, if you click "Create Profile" and copy settings from the currently selected profile, the app crashes.Originally Posted by goingtowreck

This is a known problem which will be fixed in the next release.

Mine only shows like 3 names in first column and 10 in driver names. Frustrating because my name is Dave so pretty common and I had it setup before updating today.

Nothing significant has changed in the code AFAIK and it's working for me
Click Menu / File / Open voice files folder and then open personalisations, you should see hundreds of names (including Dave).
Assuming it's in the next next release, because it's still present in the next release.
