Firt of all, thanks for your great job with crew chief, it's very cool to race with it !
Since severals weeks now i have this "plugin needed" message who' coming when i launch crew chief for rfactor2 or LMU.
Crew chief works fine when i close the box but why is it always appear ?
Here you have the screen shot of the plugin box message
CC looks in the path Le Mans Ultimate install path (default C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate) for the plugin and offers to install it for you. If you have installed LMU somewhere else and manually installed the plugin then CC will give you this warning even though LMU has the plugin it needs to work with CC.
Either set the Property Le Mans Ultimate install path to where you have installed it or click OK and CC should let you browse to it, CC will then set Le Mans Ultimate install path. Either way it should find the plugin next time you start CC and not show this warning.
Found the issue, on the game's path there have to be / instead of \.
The devs of CC should fix that that, and revert to \ since its the common simbol of folders separator (and not /).
I'm having the same problem. I had to move LMU from C to E drive - but on every opening of CC I get asked to select plug in folder. As per the above posts - (and not being very I.T savvy) How do I set the path correctly?
