Team race fuel data not available

When in a race session for a team event, and being the second driver in the car, crew chief tells me the data is not available when I make fuel-related requests (eg calculate fuel, fuel to the end of the race etc). I have crew chief running during the practice, qualifying and race sessions.

Any assistance welcomed.
