Message Volume decreasing to zero

Ok so I downloaded crew chief because I have heard great things about it. The first day or 2 it worked great. Now all of a sudden mid race the message volume reverts to zero. Making it so I have NO spotter for the rest of the race. I'm not sure how it going mute is better then the in game spotter. but I'm about to uninstall and go back to normal spotter. cool idea but its useless if I cant here when I'm 3 wide or if there is even someone next to me.

I did get this figured out. Somehow "decrease messages" was set to a key on my wheel. No idea how it got binded but it did and took me weeks to figure out LOL!!!!
