Simhub Overlays in VR Not Showing Correctly

Is there a way to display the game instead of the desktop as the background of my Simhub overlays when using CrewChief with vr?

I am trying this too with a Reverb G2 and sounds like the same issue.

I'm using a G2 also so maybe it's a Windows Mixed Reality issue?

This is interesting, I was 100% sure that you couldn't use Simhub while in VR. Is there a link or guide as to how to make it work with WMR / SteamVR?

There's a button on the Crew Chief UI for vr settings and in there you tick the check boxes of the overlays you want displaying (have them open already from simhub), then use the positioning controls to place them where you want.

So I figured out how to get this working.
Right click on the desktop and select hide icons.
Set the desktop to a solid background colour and copy the hex code of this colour (you'll need this!)
Start Crewchief and load up your Simhub overlays layout.
In Crewchief select SteamVR Overlay Settings
For each overlay enable "Transparent Background" and paste the hex code that you copied into the box.
Adjust the Tolerance level to get desired results.

You may have to experiment with the desktop colour and even edit some of the overlay asset colours to get perfect results.
I have me desktop set as #018574 and I had to change the colour of my car dot in the radar app im using from light blue to red (as the tolerance adjustment picked up the blue so it made it transparent)

    Hope this helps someone.
