Turn Number vs Turn Name?

Is there a setting to have the CC refer to a turn by the number instead of the name of the turn?

No, apart from anything else there's no simple way of working out the turn number. What you should be able to do is copy c:\Program Files (x86)\Britton IT Ltd\CrewChiefV4\trackLandmarksData.json into Documents\CrewChiefV4\track_landmarks\ and edit the turn names into turn numbers, CC will use your file instead of its default file. I say should because I haven't tried it, I'm just reading the code.
