Question no audio output from crewchief

    Hi All.

I am running windows 11 insider edition with the latest crewchief.

It has been working fine until the previous night until after W11 received the latest updates. Now everything starts, the app starts, no errors and should output the testing loop but nothing. No audio in game.

The sound device is selected (USB Headset). iRacing and Discord are using this in/out audio channel with no issues.

There are no errors on startup/enable anywhere, all seems fine.

I have uninstalled, downloaded and reinstalled. No change.

    What testing/data/logs can I collect?

Reselect the audio device in the drop down list and it should fix the issue.

    unsure why.

connected my PS5 headphones as a new output, selected it for crew chief, works fine on those.

will not work against onboard audio or usb/logitech headphones that worked for months.

    very odd.

I have the exact same problem. CC will not make sounds anymore and I am not sure what changed it....been using it for a year with 0 issues.

I can use my cheap monitor speakers......but not my motherboard audio. Was there an update that broke the program for certain users?

reselect you audio device in the dropdown list on CC UI, CC output console likely already suggest you do this.

If anyone else is having this issue with a Sound Blaster audio card like me, I just updated the drivers via Sound Blaster Command and it's working again.
