    CrewChief causing complete audio failure?

    Hi,

I'm looking for help for the following problem:

When I use CrewChief (mostly with RaceRoom+OtterHUD and sometimes AC via Content Manager) my whole audio channel crashes afer a while (not a specific time, sometimes it takes longer liike 30 to 60 min, sometimes just after 5 min). When I uninstalled CC for a while everything was fine, after a reinstall it was fine for a while. Now it happens almost every day I use CrewChief.

I use a JBL Quantum 400 with newest drivers and software (their customer support couldn't help me). The headset has a game and a chat channel. I have Raceroom and CrewChief on the game channel and Discord on the chat channel. When the failure occurs only the game channel is muted/completely dead, the chat channel still works (e.g. I can still hear the Voice chat).

When I use the windows audio troubleshooting I get the following (sorry, in German):
    Name: failure notice.png
Views: 119
Size: 15.7 KB

Is there anything I can do in the propeties to prevent this from happening? do you need more info on my system? It's Windows 10 Home with RTX 3070, all nvidia drivers are updated.
    Any help is really appreciated!

    Best regards,
    Patrick

while this is probably an issue in your sound drivers, you can try changing the "use nAudio for playback" option in CC and see if it makes a difference
