Crewchief not clearly recognising voice prompt where there is background noise

Hi, crew chief in game can't clearly recognise my voice. I'm using 1year old sony headset that works fine elsewhere. Everything before 1912 is in game. Everything after that is with game turned off. i'm playing RRE
