I am getting lap time updates every few seconds which is driving me crazy. Constant talking about everything also is making me crazy. Looked in properties menu but can seem to find solution. Any ideas. My thanks.

it's probably voice recognition - usually this kind of behaviour is caused by the app thinking that you're asking for updates when you're not. Try setting voice recognition mode to "hold button"
