I've been using CC for months on this new PC, had to do a system restore and re install everything. I'm trying to download CC to my SSD, I force windows to download, it does, then prompts me CC has a virus and was deleted?
I'm sure this is a firewall issue does anyone have a simple workaround?

Which browser are you using to download it?
I'm assuming you are using Windows Defender?

I would suggest not using IE. However, you may need to reduce the security settings for defender or temporarily turn it off.

Windows Defender Security Center -> App & Browser Control

i do submit the .exe to Windows Defender online analysis quite regularly and it quickly comes back clean, but when i submit the installer the analysis takes weeks. Unfortunately the installer gets re-packaged with every release so submitting it to MS every time doesn't really make sense as the next version of the app is released before their online scan has completed
