Assetto is not working with crew chielf after new updtae, what seems to be the problem?

Nothing has changed related to AC so that's a mystery.

Has stopped working with Assetto Corsa after upgrade of CC. Also updated Sound Pack, Driver Names and Pesonalisations so something in there maybe?

Error keeps repeating and filling the log.

I also have same problem, was working fine with assetto corsa yesterday, tested on automobalista 2 and crew chief worked on that. tried un installing crew chief and re installing, still no go with assetto corsa.

Did CC show a Plugin Needed dialog when you ran it? Did you click OK?

yes got the plugin dialog and clicked ok. when i un installed CC i also deleted the CC from in the AC folder. then re installed CC got that plugin dialog clicked OK. Went back in to AC folder to make sure it was back ther, checked in the content manager apps it was activated and it was all like it should be. but i get the same error in CC that 3batf1nk3 is getting in the above post.

I'd forgotten that the plugin changed to allow for more than 64 cars (it's now 128). That's been in the RC for while and no one has reported any problems with that. assettocorsa\apps\python\CrewChiefEx\shared_mem.py should now have a line

('vehicleInfo', acsVehicleInfo * 128),
That's the change that causes CC to install the new plugin.

I assume you're running AC 64 bit? It's possible the 32 bit version doesn't allow more than 64 cars.

im not exactly sure, i would asume my AC version is 64 bit if thats what you mean , i choose the AC 64bit in the CC option though and worked before the update.

Just adding, CrewChief no longer seems to be working for me either, since the latest update. I have the 64-bit version of AC selected in CrewChief. I almost exclusively play AC and have not made any changes other than this latest update. The logs are showing the same errors as above.

We want to understand why it's not working with AC for you but at the moment we don't have any suggestions.

Thank you for sharing this link. I've been able to uninstall the current version, install this older version (got another plugin prompt), then chose to skip the update. Working immediately.

Happy to share log files or anything else which might help to understand.

amazing, thank you so much, can confirm this fixed the problem for me, if ther is any info you need from me to look deeper into the problem with AC and the latest CC update just let me know wher i need to look, for now i also turned off the update game plugins on startup

I edited the file. When I started CrewChief, it prompted for the Plugin. I clicked on it. My crewchief and spotter spoke.
When I went into Assetto Corsa CrewChief did not work.
I went back to the file and it had been changed back to 64.

After doing this, I remembered getting the prompt about the need to download files when I first updated CrewChief.

What should I try now?
