Thread: Suggested VR feature for CC

    Suggested VR feature for CC

When using VR and CC, in Iracing, you can not pick up a cheat sheet to refresh your memory on CC available commands. During practice and or pits it would be nice call up a list of commands. An example, you could say to CC "Show Me Pitstop Command List" It would not need a description for each command I would not think. Another version might be a list of popular or most used commands.

The only video interface CC has I would think is the text chat sfor this suggested feature. Very limited space so this might not work at all. Just a thought.

Another thought would be to open CC, put on VR then use the CC window 10 window to practice saying commands with a list of commands in the CC window.

I too always struggle to remember what to say. I have reworked the phrases in CC's help, putting them in categories - my idea is that it makes it easier to pick the messages that are important to me and I can also filter out the explanations so I end up with a much shorter, hopefully manageable, cheat sheet.
Categories are in [], descriptions start with #

I don't have iRacing so I haven't done anything with them except separate them out.

Seven I did kind of the same thing but I like yours better.

    Thanks for the reply.

If you get a chance try Iracing. It is kind of pricey so you have to watch your budget.

My solution to this was to use the custom commands file, where you can set commands more appropriate to your speaking style. For instance, instead of the default command to change 4 tires I can simply say "pit stop give me four"; when I want the app to go silent I say "shut up". You can find more info on this file here in the forums.

I think that is my problem. I keep messing up the actual command. Good idea. Thanks.
