Crew chief has delays with speech

Hi I just downloaded and started using crew chief today, I am on windows10 and using it for iRacing. Everything seems to be working fine but there seems to be a slight delay when it comes to the speech. For example when it reports lap times it will almost have a half second delay between each word.

No idea what that could be.

Have you tried enabling the "nAudio playback" option in the Properties screen? It might improve things
