My Crew Chief won't start. It was fine a few days ago but now it flashes on the screen for a second then crashes and doesn't work. I have deleted, restarted and downloaded it a few times but it's always the same. Is there a known problem ?

Check your windows event log under application logs, see if there are any .Net errors and post them here.

Try deleting or renaming c:\Users\[username]\AppData\local\britton_it_ltd\ folder and the Documents\CrewChiefV4\ folder to reset the app to it's original settings - sometimes these can get corrupted

Thanks for the fast reply. I'm computer illiterate unfortunately. Will there be an update ? I feel it started since the last update was out.

no, there won't be an update. The issue is with your settings not the app. You just have to delete or rename 2 folders

Are your back slashes computer speak for "next go to" ?

    Does C mean C Drive ?

If so, I don't have "username" after C then Users.

it's a folder path. [username] is whatever your user name is. C:\ is the root of your hard drive. So for me it's c:\Users\jim\AppData\local\britton_it_ltd\
You may have to change folder options in windows so it shows hidden folders.

    Documents is your documents folder.
