"Only 64bit version of rFactor 2 is supported"?

I can't get crew chief to work for Rfactor 2. Even though the game is running in 64bit according to task manager, I get a message that says "Only 64bit version of rFactor 2 is supported" in the console. I made sure 'force 32bit' was unchecked and even reinstalled the game and crew chief. Any suggestions?

Make sure that you use the latest plugin (CC comes with the latest). Start CC before starting rF2, CC should prompt you to update game plugin. If rF2 is installed in some unusual location, you may need to manually copy the shared memory plugin to Bin64 folder and enable it in game.

Please share the full console output via pastebin or something.

Did CC prompt you to update game plugin? Do you use SimHub as well?

I didn't get a prompt to update the game plugin. I have SimHub although I'm not using it in this case. https://pastebin.com/WyWRx8nS

thanks but this does not look like the full log, I do not see CC version in the output. If you are not comfortable sharing the full log here, feel free to PM me with it. What CC version do you see on the Crew Chief UI?

I will send you some info on how to diagnose plugin itself, but bottom line this looks like CC and Plugin mismatch to me, or a conflict with the SimHub. Make sure that both SimHub and CC are the lastest version, and do not let SimHub updating rF2 plugin.

So you have latest CC and I am guessing wrong plugin.
    Plugin is here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Britton IT Ltd\CrewChiefV4\plugins\rFactor 2\Bin64\Plugins\rFactor2SharedMemoryMapPlugin64.dl l"
    Put it to: Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64\Plugins\
If that does not help, please share contents of this file: Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\Log\RF2SMMP_DebugOutput.txt"

Unfortunately, I am out of ideas then. Did you enable the plugin in the game?
