When using CC in iRacing I am getting the following error

about 3-4 laps into a Race with more than 20 cars when CC is running I am getting frame drops just before CC speaks. After that stuttering My Mic output in IRacing will not work again until I re-select an audio device from the audio menu. I am using default audio as the setting with a USB wired headset, I have also tried with Rift audio and the mic built into my computer same concern. Also I lose all audio ( in and out) in Discord at the same time until i rejoin the Chat channel in discord.

This does not happen with CC not running
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC. perhaps I have a audio setting incorrect?


Current setup Lenovo Y740 8750h 16g ram rtx2070maxq with a Oculus Rift (cv1)
