    Does Crew Chief Broadcast?

I was playing Project Cars 2 with my brother, who lives with me, and I got him to download the CC app because its awesome. We are both hearing each other's CCs and spotters. We are connected to the same LAN and I'm guessing that CC uses a broadcast address?

Im just looking for an explanation as to why this is happening to see if I can come up with a work around, because if this is how CC works, then in order for it to work properly in my situation may require a major rewrite of code, and I am not asking for that as it is unreasonable for a rare circumstance. Any insight would be appreciated!

If you're both using UDP (are you both playing on console?) then the app will see both streams of data because the game just broadcasts to all network devices. If I remember correctly there's an option in the app to process only UDP packets that come from a specific address - if you can work out the IP address of each console it should be possible to make the app use only the data sent from this address

We are both on PC. I'm guessing you're talking about the mobile app has the option to process UDP packets from a specific address? Does the PC app have that capability as well?
