No engineer sound - only background noises

Hi everyone,

I have noticed this issue was mentioned here before, but the solutions did not work.

My CrewChief plays only the background noise, instead of the actual engineer sound. I have tried so far:

reinstalling crewchief
redownloading sound packs
changing voices
reverting to defaults
unticking the device's exclusive control of the sound/microphone device

None of these have helped.

I am running latest windows 10, using steelseries arctis 3, which might be important, as these install their own drivers.

It worked before, when I wasn't using Arctis 3 drivers.

Also, the sole file of "radio check" sound can be played over windows media player, if that's somewhat relevant.

Any ideas, folks?

Chief and spotter speak, only play on your default speaker set....

I got the same prob, but after i changed my systtem default speaker du headset, i got the sound on those...
