Pit box count down not working

Hi,

Just started using this. Can't believe I've not before!!
However, I tried using the time countdown to pit box but the CC only starts counting once i'm in my pit box?

• Do i need to do a practice pit stop first?
  How does the practice pit stop work?

What game are you trying to get pit box countdown to work in ?

are you using meters/feet/5-4-3.... i think the might be issues using 5-4-3... and on some tracks where pil lane is not in line with the actual track it might get it wrong, like if the pitlane is shorter then actual track part next to it.

yeah, the game uses the 'lap distance' to work out the 5-4-3-2-1 countdown. Unfortunately the lap distance when on the pit road is often very different to the corresponding lap distance on the racing surface, so the count down may be bollocks or not work at all. Use the distance, it's generally better

I have the same issue, in iRacing too. Tested it in road tracks and ovals, and always do the same. I enter the pits and only when I'm stopping in my pit box the spotter says "five"

The 5.4.3.2.1 count down is not the best, using distance is the better options.
