So am new here after hearing good things about the app.
However i seem unable to get the voice recognition to work.
I tried it, followed by using the sticky post to re-install language packs etc.
Followed the info and have googled ( spent last 2hours trying this ) but to no avail.
It shows all is working, language pack loaded en-gb etc but it does not pick up anything i say.

I have checked levels, checked its default etc but all i get in return is the variations of " cant hear " ...

Help before i go nuts!!????

Anyone? Any suggestions on what could be the issue or what to try next?

Have you bound a PTT? I'd double check it with a PTT just to make sure it's activating. Then my default is 'Can you hear me?'. You need to wait half a second/second after the beep to get it to work properly. Also speak clearly. I'd check your mic levels. I find it needs quite a good level to work correctly.

Hi.
I have set up a ptt , which i did straight away and do get the beep. I have tried waiting a second or two but with no luck.
The mic is set full and a 20db boost as i saw somewhere not recommending the 30db .
I will recheck

If you're still have problems then check my posts HERE (http://thecrewchief.org/showthread.php?40-Can-t-get-Voice-Recognition-working-please-help&p=5328&viewfull=1#post5328) which sorted things out for me.
