View Full Version : Fuel Reporting

Currently CC seems to report the current 5-lap average when asked 'How's my fuel', and rounds it to the nearest tenth of a litre. This makes it rather difficult to keep a required fuel number when doing fuel saving, particularly when you don't have a fuel readout in the car, such as the Porsche 919.

Would it be possible to have a feature where CC could read out fuel consumption at the end of every lap? Or even better, be able to set a target consumption figure and have CC give you feedback on what your fuel state is. For example, at Le Mans in the 919, for a 12 lap stint with a 62.5 liter tank requires 5.2L/lap to make it. Assuming a 1L buffer, you'd tell CC that your target consumption is 5.12L/lap.

Then, when you cross the line on every lap, CC will give you the difference between the target consumption and the actual consumption.

Example: "Target 5.12L per lap"
"Copy, 5.12L per lap"
.
.
.
"You used 0.1L more than the target that lap."
.
.
.
"You used 0.1L less than the target that lap."

Is this possible? If the above feature isn't feasable, could a simple reporting of the fuel consumption every lap to 0.01L be possible?
